Rep tryouts – 2019-20 VJBL Season

Do you want to make the move to Rep basketball later this year? The Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) 2019-20 Season is due to begin later in in Term 4 and if you wish to take part you need to tryout.

Tryouts

Players seeking a place in one of the Ivanhoe Darebin Knights junior championship teams in the VJBL competition must register and participate in a series of three tryout sessions.

The tryouts will be held at the Darebin Community Sports Stadium, 857 Plenty Road, Reservoir on six days: 6, 8, 11, 13, 15 and 18 October 2019.

Attendance in the tryouts is free but players must:

• attend all three tryouts for their age group
• arrive at least 20 minutes before the start time to register
• bring a dark and a light top or reversible singlet, a basketball and a drink bottle
• bring a ‘Permission to Train’ form -if the player is coming from another club.

Sunday 6 October:

• 9:00 am to 10:30 am – Under 12 boys and girls
• 10:30 am to 12:00 pm – Under 14 boys and girls.

Tuesday 8 October:

• 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm – Under 16 boys and girls
• 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm – Under 18 boys and girls.

Friday 11 October:

• 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm – Under 12 boys and girls
• 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm – Under 14 boys and girls.

Sunday 13 October

• 9:00 am to 10:30 am – Under 14 boys and girls
• 10:30 am to 12:00 pm – Under 16 boys and Under 18 boys.

Tuesday 15 October:

• 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm – Under 16 girls and boys
• 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm – Under 18 girls and boys.

Friday 18 October:

• 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm – Under 12 boys and girls
• 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm – Under 16 girls and Under 18 boys.
