Changes for Summer Season 2015-16
Summer Season 2015-16 will see a number of significant changes in the way the EDJBA competition is run and how our club manages its administration. Here is a quick run-down.
EDJBA scoring—The EDJBA is introducing electronic scoring this season. The new system will involve laptop scoring replacing paper-based scoring. Our club will be introducing the new system within the season, but a date has not yet been set. Training will be available for club officials and parents before the new system takes place. In the meantime you can have a look at the new system in a YouTube video called Stadium Scoring Basics.
Singlet numbers—From Summer 2015-16 the EDJBA has approved the use of singlet numbers from 0 to 99. This has allowed our club to introduce a new singlet number allocation policy, which should greatly reduce the number of singlet number clashes. Under the new system, new players will be allocated a number based on their date of birth. Existing players will be able to keep their numbers but if there is a clash they may have to move to a new number.
