Ivanhoe East Basketball Club Inc.


The Ivanhoe East Basketball Club fields boys and girls under 8 to under 20 basketball teams in the Eastern Districts Junior Basketball Association’s Saturday competition. We are always delighted to welcome new members from the local area. We currently have players from the surrounding suburbs of Alphington, Brunswick, Brunswick East, Clifton Hill, Eaglemont, Fairfield, Fitzroy, Heidelberg, Heidelberg Heights, Heidelberg West, Ivanhoe, Ivanhoe East, Kew, Northcote, North Fitzroy, Preston, Reservoir, Rosanna, Thornbury and Viewbank.

GOLDEN RULES



The committee has decided upon a set of 'golden rules' to govern the behaviour of all club members and spectators. Please make sure that you and all players that you have registered with the club read it.

Coaches


June 30 is the deadline to apply for a working with children card from a Post Office. Although the Victorian Government doesn't require coaches who coach a team in which their son or daughter play to have a working with children card, Basketball Victoria does.


Basketball Victoria requires all coaches to apply for a working with children card by June 30.

     Sat, 25th July Round 11
     Sat, 1st August Round 12 --  Registration day for Summer season. Players must register by this date to be assured of a place in a team.
     Sat, 8th August Round 13
     Sat, 15th August Round 14
     Sat, 22nd August Round 15
     Sat, 29th August Semi Finals -  volunteers needed for door duty.
     Sat, 5th September Preliminary Finals -  volunteers needed for door duty.
